Kygo Announces New Album “KYGO”, Shares New Song “Without You” with HAYLA
Norwegian DJ Kygo has announced his fifth studio album, simply called “KYGO” will be released on June 21, 2024.
The self-titled album is his first body of work in two years since the 2022 album “Thrill of the Chase”, and comprises a 18-track.
The album features collaborations with Ava Max, Hayla, Plested, Sandro Cavazza, Sasha Alex Sloan, Zak Abel, Nile Rodgers, Chance Peña, Emmit Fenn, Fred Well, Jonas Brothers, Julia Michaels, M83, Matt Hansen and Sigrid..
Kygo said of the album, “After 10 years of releasing music, I decided it was time for a self-titled album. I'm so excited to finally announce that my new album 'KYGO' will be out June 21st! I've worked really hard on this one the last 2 years and I can't wait to share it all with you guys.”- From the album, he released a new song “Without You” on May 31, 2024.
This time, he teamed up with British singer-songwriter HAYLA on the track.
The song is the third single off of the album.
It was written by Hayley Williams, Jenson Vaughan, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, Maegan Cottone, and Magnus Skylstad. Produced by Kygo.
Kygo and HAYLA first performed the song at Palm Tree Music Festival in Hawaii mid of this month.
HAYLA said, “I'm so happy to say that 'Without You' with Kyogo is out. Thank you so much to everyday for the response so fa. It's been amazing to be able to work with Kygo and also get to perform it in an amazing location. If anybody is coming tour obviously I will be joining him in September. So I'll see you there.” - Kygo embarks on his 2024 World Tour across North America, Europe and the UK.
Special guests SOFI TUKKER, GRYFFIN, Sam Feldt, Zara Larsson, Klangkarussell, HAYLA, Victoria Nadine, and Vandelux.
The tour kicks off at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO on September 7 and will conclude at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on December 13, 2024.
