Adam Lambert Announces New EP “AFTERS”, Shares Two New Songs “LUBE” & “WET DREAM”
American singer-songwriter Adam Lambert has announced a new EP “AFTERS” will be released on July 19, 2024 via The Orchard.
The EP is his first body of work since the 2023 album “High Drama”.
This time, he focused on house music to talk about sex, desire and romance in a more honest way than he ever has before on the EP.
“Creating AFTERS has been such a liberating experience as I chose to craft an EP of house music that's unapologetically queer and sex positive,” Adam Lambert said of the EP. “I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities' hedonistic desires and exploits.”
He added, “Feeling more confident than ever, I wanted to get shamelessly raw and real with the listener. AFTERS is meant to make you move, sweat, fantasise and connect!”- From the EP, he released two new songs “LUBE” and “WET DREAM”.
“LUBE” was written by Adam Lambert, NOVODOR, Parson James, and Vincent Cannady. Produced by NOVODOR.
“WET DREAM” was written by Adam Lambert, Ferras Alqaisi, James Abrahart, Sarah Hudson, Zhone. Produced by Zhone.
“I created both of these songs with dear friends and the writing sessions were full of laughter and joy,” Adam Lambert said of two song, “The freedom with which we wrote these lyrics is evidence of a new chapter in my artistry where I refuse to edit or filter myself. Both songs are about connection, and fearlessly turning fantasy into reality.” -
