Rum Jungle Drops New Music Video for “Did The Morning Let You Down”
Australian indie rock band Rum Jungle, consisting of Benny McIntyre (vocals/guitar), Josh Giles (guitar), Michael Kolmajer (bass) and Frazer McDonald (drums), has dropped a new music video for “Did The Morning Let You Down” directed by Rum Jungle and Jacqui Sharah.
The song was released as a double single with “Short Hair” back in April.
The band recorded the song at Sonora Studios in Australia for a week with producers Tasker and Jack Nigro, and created an honest display of sonic melodies that reflect proudly the good spirits of the session.
It was written by Benjamin McIntyre, Caleb Tasker, Frazer McDonald, Joshua Giles, and Michael Kolmajer. Produced by Tasker and Jack Nigro.
The band drummer Frazer McDonald said of the song, “It is with a huge amount of gratitude that we present to you all, a song in which we had the most fun we have ever had whilst recording.”- The band lead singer Benny McIntyre continued, “You'd be lying to yourself if there hasn't been a morning in your life that you've not been stoked with the events of the night before or something's weighing you down and that morning it hits you hard. Mistakes get made, shit goes wrong, everything's tough for everyone in their own relative state. What this one is about though is pickin' up and rollin' on and understanding the world is the way it is, and finding that thing or person or reason to charge on with some sonic stability.”
