Catpack Releases New Song “The Top”
Los Angeles-based collective Catpack, consisting of American alt-R&B band Moonchild's Amber Navran (vocals), Jacob Mann (keyboard), and Phil Beaudreau (producer/trumpet), released the fourth single called “Midnight” from their upcoming self-titled debut album on May 23, 2024.
The debut album is set to be released on June 21, 2024 via Tru Thoughts.
The song is an ethereal and spacious voyage, layered with a multitude of synth-sounds and percussion.
It was written and produced by Catpack.
The song is about “showing loved ones that you love them with love. Knowing how special they are, showing them in all the ways you can, and then being amazed at how they do the same for you,” the band lead singer Amber Navran explained. “My love language is gifts, which is clear in the lyrics.”- The debut album comprises a 10-track and is the organic output of genuine friendship and collaborative spirit among three esteemed musicians, each bringing their unique sounds together to create something fresh and vibrant.
Amber Navran added, “To me, it’s three people with distinct sounds who love and admire each other, coming together to make something new.” -
