Milow Returns With New Song “Tell Me Twice”
Belgian singer-songwriter Jonathan Vandenbroeck, aka Milow returned with a new song “Tell Me Twice” on May 24, 2024.
The song is his first music in a year since the 2023 EP “Great To Know You”.
Also the song is the first single off of his upcoming album.
The track was written by Alex Wilke, Ben Samama, Colleen Evalyn Sherman, and Jonathan Vandenbroeck.
Produced by Ben Samama, Alex Wilke, and Jo Francken. The accompanying music video was directed by Rachel McDonald.
Milow said of the song, “My new song 'Tell Me Twice' is a tribute to the music that influenced me and inspired me as a singer-songwriter. It's the very first song of a new studio album I've been working on for the last year, and a bit of a return to the more organic acoustic sound of my early music. I recorded this song live in the studio with my band & for the first time I worked with a live horn section. The song has a few layers: the lyrics are about two people making a promise to look after each other, especially when times are hard. On a different level it's also about me making a commitment and a promise to keep writing and recording music, to keep performing live, for many more years to come.”- He shared on social media, “For the recording of 'Tell Me Twice' I went into a beautiful recording studio in the Belgian Ardennes with my longtime producer and several incredible musicians. The song was mostly recorded in 1 day.”
He continued, “I can't remember ever being so nervous about a new release... It just feels like ages since I released new music, sorry that I've been so quiet over here the last year. This is what I've been working on, a brand new album is in the works. I hope you like the new sound.” -
