moonstone Releases New Song “Figured Out”
Dallas-based alt-pop band moonstone, consisting of Gracie Armendariz (vocals), Lucas Armendariz (lead guitar), Ramses Ramirez (rhythm guitar), Charis Cacal (bass) and Connor Smith (drums), released a new song “Figured Out” on May 27, 2024.
The song is the third single since the 2023 EP “Still Want More.”, following “In My Room” and “Not As Present”.
It was written by Gracie Hope Armendariz and Lucas Rey Armendariz. Produced by Lucas Armendariz.
The band frontman Gracie Armendariz said of the song, “The lyrics for 'Figured Out' were written about being put into a role where you're completely self-reliant, growing up hyper-independent and the defiance that comes along with it. When you're emotionally hyper-independent, you feel the need to handle everything in your life on your own, including your own emotions and challenges, making it difficult to ask for help, even when you need it. I love songs that have meaningful, personal lyrics and dancy, upbeat instrumentals, and I feel that we achieved that perfectly with this song.”- Thew band will perform at So What?! Music Festival 2024 in Fort Worth, TX on June 1, 2024, alongside Underoath, 3OH!3, Knuckle Puck, Boys Like Girls and more.
