  • Imagine Dragons Releases New Song “Nice To Meet You”

  • Back in April, American pop rock band Imagine Dragons, consisting of Dan Reynolds (lead vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitars) and Ben McKee (bass), announced their sixth studio album “LOOM” would be released on June 28, 2024 via Kidinakorner and Interscope Records.

The album is their first LP in two years since the 2022 two-part studio album “Mercury - Acts 1 & 2” and comprises a 9-track.

The band frontman Dan Reynolds said of the album, “Working on this record was a rollercoaster. The beauty of songwriting is that it has always simply been my journal. It has documented decades of my journey through this strange life. And I've been lucky enough to create it with my best friends in a band and have you share it with us.”

From the album, the band released the second single called “Nice To Meet You” on May 24, 2024, following the first single “Eyes Closed”.
The track was written by Ben McKee, Dan Reynolds, Mattias Larsson, Robin Lennart Fredriksson, and Wayne Sermon. Produced by Mattman & Robin.
The accompanying music video was directed by Matt Eastin, who also directed the previous video for “Eyes Closed”.
  • The band embarks on “LOOM World Tour” in support of the album. The tour kicks off at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, NJ on July 30, and will conclude at Hollywood Bowl Los Angeles, CA on October 23, 2024.

  • Dan Reynolds told Associated Press about the album's cover art, “You can't really tell if it's a sunset or a sunrise, and then there are two people kind of separated standing in front of it. That really kind of sums it up thematically when I listen to it, Is the beginning of something new, or is this the end of something? And the sunset and the sunrise always kind of feels that way to me. It could be either/or.”
