Jeremy Zucker, Lauv & Alexander 23 Team Up for New Song “Cozy”
American singer-songwriters Jeremy Zucker, Lauv and Alexander 23 teamed up to release a new song “Cozy” on May 22, 2024.
This marks the third time collaboration between Jeremy Zucker and Alexander 23 since Jeremy Zucker's 2023 single “OK” and Alexander 23's 2020 single “Nothing's the Same”, which is featured on Alexander 23's EP “Oh No, Not Again!”.
Additionally, Alexander 23 supported Lauv's The Between Albums Tour in 2023.
However, this is the first time that the three artists are working together.
The song is about being comfortable and intimate with someone dear to one's heart.
The track was written by Alexander Glantz, Ari Leff, and Jeremy Zucker. Produced by Jeremy Zucker and Alexander 23.
The accompanying music video was directed by Paris Mumpower.
Jeremy Zucker said of the song, “This collab has been a long time coming, and it was the most fun i’ve had in a while making music. Knowing Ari and Alexander for so many years and having such similar fan bases made this rollout all the more exciting to us. We each had the ability to bring a bit of ourselves into this song and video and created something really special.”- Lauv added, “When Jeremy, Alexander and I went into the studio to make a song, I knew we had to create something super fire," adds Lauv. "I'm so excited you guys can hear it now too. I feel like our fans have waited for us to collaborate for so long, and I truly just love these boys and think they're so talented, so it's an honor to make a song with them.”
Alexander 23 continued, “Making 'Cozy' with Jeremy and Ari was one of my favorite times in the studio. We've been talking about making music all together for years, and when it finally happened it was magical. We wrote it pretty fast, and then Ari took a nap while me and Jeremy recorded guitars (legendary).” -
