Ellysse Mason Releases New Song “Getting You Down”
Manchester-based singer-songwriter Ellysse Mason released the second single called “Getting You Down” from her upcoming EP “Wish The World Was Ending” on May 22, 2024.
The song follows up “Cry Baby”, which was released last month.
It was written by Ash Howes, Ellysse Mason, and Seton Daunt. Produced by Ed Graves.
The new EP is expected to be released later this year via Rainbow Wood Records.
Ellysse Mason said of the song, “Getting You Down is my favourite song on the EP. It’s the voice that talks you down and helps keep your composure. My listeners know that I am a connoisseur of the bitter-sweet, so in classic Ellysse Mason fashion, the lyrical frustration is dressed up as a feel-good anthem. I love the vibe we’ve caught with this one, but do give it a proper listen to find the bitter in the sweet.”- She shared on social media, “This song is my FAVOURITE on the EP… I know I could say that about all of them but I really mean it.
