Mike Repic Releases New Song “Alive”
Canadian singer-songwriter Mike Repic, who is known as the vocalist of Canadian rock band 40 Sons, released a new song “Alive” on May 17, 2024.
After coming out of seclusion and addiction for two years, he has created a unique, sincere, and modern sound.
The song is the fourth single of 2024, following “Crash”, “Wait for Me”, and “Opiate Girl”.
The track was written by Michael Repic and produced by Carl Jennings.
Mike Repic said of the song, “It's about walking through hell, only to come out the other side and realize you're still living in fear. After getting off of drugs I've had to give my head a shake and tell myself 'look at what you've gone through in your life, this shouldn't scare you.' It's ultimately an uplifting song to give myself a kick in the ass to not be afraid to go after the things I want in life.”- Mike Repic shared on social media, “2 years sober and 2 haircuts later. I was hopeless and close to death. Now I'm able to record music, spend time with family and friends, and get haircuts. Much love to everyone who's been there along the way.
