Chris Lanzon Releases New Song “Lilo”
Sydney-based indie-folk singer-songwriter Chris Lanzon released a new song “Lilo” on May 16, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative single “Angel Litany” with Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Harmony, which was released last month.
Both songs will appear on his upcoming project.
The track was written by Chris Lanzon, Demi Louise and Jerome Blazé. Produced by Chris Lanzon.
Chris Lanzon said of the song, “There are people in your life who are always going to be there, connected to you in some way. Whether they're family, friends, lovers. You know you'll always be there for them, too. Even if they're distant. Even if there's so much about them that you don't know, or don't understand. Even if it hurts, you'll be there if they need you, no matter what - because you care, and you always will. Lilo is a confession and commitment to this. It's both sad and beautiful, depending how you look at it. That's my favourite kind of music.”- Chris Lanzon shared on social media, “This one feels quite special. The most 'me' i think i've ever sounded? It's short & sweet but I feel like it says so much and I relate to it in so many ways. I hope you can too.”
He continued, “The idea started with the magical Demi Louise and then Jerome Blazé helped spice up the chords. I wrote the verse later thinking about how sometimes even those closest to you can feel so far away, so unknown. But there's always a desire to make space for them whenever they need it. family, friends, lovers. whoever you care about. This song is for that feeling.” -
