Ella Galvin Announces Debut EP “The Way It Goes”, Shares Title Track
New York-based pop singer-songwriter Ella Galvin has announced her debut EP “The Way It Goes” will be released on June 14, 2024.
The EP masterfully combines her genre-blending musical influences with diaristic storytelling that explores themes of love, loss, and self-identity.
Across a 6-track, she captures the charm, growing pains and introspection she’s experienced as a young, queer woman trying to make it in New York City.
From the EP, Ella Galvin unveiled the title track along with a music video on May 10, 2024.
The track was written by Ella Galvin Redmond, and Tony Pietrafesa who also produced it.
The accompanying video was directed by Cel Sanel, who filmed in New York City.
Ella Galvin said of the song, “‘The Way It Goes’ is a song about going back and forth between wanting to see your ex and not wanting to reopen those wounds again and risk being disappointed.”- Photo by Claire Reynolds
