Loreen Releases New Song “Forever”
Swedish singer-songwriter Loreen released a new song “Forever” on May 10, 2024.
The song follows up the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 winner song “Tattoo” and her recently single “Is It Love”.
The track was written by oy Matthews, Conor Blake, Loreen Talhaoui, TMS, and Zhone. Produced by Zhone and Billented.
Loreen said of the song, “In the first chapter of the story, which is 'Tattoo', you meet this entity – she's male, she's female, she's everything. She comes from the earth, from the dust, and it's very spiritual. And now in the second chapter, Forever, there is an awakening. It's about a moment where you've gone through all the earth and dust - you've gone through life - and you can see things clearly. You're leaving all your illusions behind and you're free.”- Loreen told Billboard about making process, “I had the narrative. I knew this was going to be a declaration of love. Love is key. How is it going to be presented? It usually starts with the harmonies. It's pretty simple; I sing by the piano. Now we have a pattern, and from there, it's just singing. A free start from beginning to end. And everything came almost in one take. Of course, we tweaked it a little.”

Loreen will perform the song on the grand final of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest at Malmö Arena in Sweden on May 11, 2024.
She said, “I'm thrilled to be performing at this year's Eurovision final in Malmö. It will be an emotional one. You make me feel like forever and truly blow me away every single time. This performance is dedicated to you, the community and fans who constantly give me love. Consider this my heartfelt gift to you.”
