British singer-songwriter Ella Eyre released a new song “Ain't No Love That Blind” on May 8, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “Head In The Ground” featuring Tiggs Da Author, which was released last November.
She recorded the song at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The track was written by Ella Eyre, Naitumela Masuku, Nathaniel Ledwidge, and Sinai Tedros. Produced by Detonate, Luke Smith, and Mike Spencer.
She will perform the song at BAFTA Awards on May 12, 2024.
Ella Eyre said of the song, “'Ain't no love that blind' is the anthem I feel like I needed to hear in my teens when I was writing songs about a heartbreak I could never imagine getting over. It's about a betrayal, one you weren't expecting but also weren't surprised by because after years of romantic (and unromantic) relationships, I learnt to protect my peace by being very careful who I put my faith in. This song just makes me feel so good and when that chorus hook hits there's a real sense of empowerment and freedom in knowing my own strength now.”- Ella Eyre shared on social media, “Anyone who's been to my live show recently will already know how this one goes but I'm eeeven more excited for you to hear it in it's full final glory. My GOD this song just makes me feel GOOD and it takes me right back to when i was writing my first album, venting furiously about a heartbreak I could never imagine being over, except this time I ain't mad, I ain't mad at allllll”
