British singer-songwriter YUNGBLUD released a cover of American hard rock band KISS' “I Was Made For Lovin' You” from the upcoming action film “The Fall Guy” soundtrack on April 26, 2024.
The original version of the song was released by KISS from their seventh studio album “Dynasty” in 1979.
The track was written by Desmond Child, Paul Stanley, and Vincent Poncia. The cover version was produced by Chris Greatti and Dominic Lewis.
For YUNGBLUD, the song is the second soundtrack single of 2024, following the release of “Abyss” from Japanese anime TV series “Kaiju No. 8” soundtrack.
In addition to YUNGBLUD, the soundtrack features several hits from Bon Jovi “You Give Love a Bad Name”, Taylor Swift “All Too Well” , Blake Shelton “Unknown Stuntman”, AC/DC “Thunderstruck”, Phil Collins “Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)”, and more.- “The Fall Guy” is loosely based on the 1980s TV series about stunt performers. The film was directed by David Leitch, starring Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Winston Duke, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, and Stephanie Hsu.
The film premiered at SXSW last month, and is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2024. - source : Apple Music
