Dua Lipa Performs “Training Season” & “Houdini” at 2024 Grammy Awards
British singer-songwriter Dua Lipa performed her upcoming song “Training Season” and latest song “Houdini” at the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, 2024.
She was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media with “Dance the Night”.
“Training Season” is her upcoming single, which will be released on February 15, 2024. She performed the song for the first time at the Awards ceremony.
Lyrically, she conceived after going on mediocre dates, are about her denouncing unimpressive suitors.
“Houdini” was released last November. She collaborated with Australian psychedelic music project Tame Impala's Kevin Parker on the track.
Kevin Parker also co-wrote and produced the next song “Training Season”.
Dua Lipa said of the song, “This track represents the most light and freeing parts of my singledom. 'Houdini' is very tongue in cheek, exploring the idea of whether someone is really worth my while or if I'll ghost them in the end. You never know where something may take you, that's the beauty of being open to whatever life throws your way.”
