Amanda Cy Returns With New Song “Know Nothing”
Swedish indie-pop singer-songwriter Amanda Cy returned with a new song “Know Nothing” on January 25, 2024.
The song is her first music in three years since the 2021 debut EP “Ugh!”.
This time, she worked with Swedish production duo Teddy Failure on the track.
She wrote the song a few days after ran into an ex.
Amanda Cy said of the song, "It's about letting go of the past and embracing change, realising that you no longer know a lot about a person you used to love and understand inside and out." She continued, "It felt like we were just acquaintances, like the five years we spent together didn’t really happen. In one way that was great, because I was finally over a pretty bad breakup, in another way it was so weird that someone I used to be so close with was a stranger all of a sudden."
