Leah Jane Releases Debut Song “Paper Crown”
Canadian indie-pop singer-songwriter Leah Jane released her debut song “Paper Crown” on January 24, 2024.
The song will appear on her upcoming debut EP “Nottingham Drive”, which is expected to be released in 2024 via Spooky Action Records.
The track encapsulates the experience of leaving a damaging relationship and is characterized by its empowering message of finding peace.
She co-wrote the song with Canadian alt-rock band Selfish Things members Alex Biro and Mike Ticar, alongside Neil Mcinnis. Produced by Mike Tompa and Alex Biro.
Leah Jane shared on social media, “paper crown is yours today and forever so !!! jump up and down, yell off of a mountain if ur near one or go twirl around in the rain!!!”- Leah Jane is known as actress Leah McKenney, who appeared in the 2023 film “House of Deadly Lies”. Also she was nominated for Best Actress at the Short Stop Film Fest.
Recently, she stars an upcoming short film “Format”, directed by Darik Maurice, which will be released in 2024.
As a musician, she received the 2019 RBC Emerging Musician/Canadian Walk of Fame Scholarship for her original song “Water”.
