Calum Scott Releases New Song “Lighthouse”
British singer-songwriter Calum Scott will support British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's “+−=÷×” tour 2024 from January 20, 2024.
He released a new song “Lighthouse” on January 19, 2024 ahead of the tour.
The song follows up the collaborative single “At Your Worst” with German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees, which was released last October.
The track was written by Calum Scott, Charlie Martin, Corey Sanders, Joe Housley, and Jon Maguire. Produced by The Nocturns and Jon 'MAGS' Maguire.
Calum Scott said of the song, “'Lighthouse' is a story about light in the darkness, the hope on the horizon, even if it's in the distance and almost out of view it reminds you of what's important and what makes you feel safe. It was written at a time when I was missing home and just getting a FaceTime or a text can be that lighthouse for me. I really pushed my limits to record the vocals on this, tried to sing with as much passion and raw emotion as I could - the production really helped with that and makes the story feel monstrous and powerful and will fill the stadiums I'm about to sing at whilst supporting Ed Sheeran!”- Ed Sheeran's “+−=÷×” tour 2024 kicks off at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai on January 20, 2024 and will conclude at Larnaca Marina in Cyprus on September 8, 2024.
