Reneé Rapp & Megan Thee Stallion Team Up for New Song “Not My Fault” from Motion Picture “Mean Girls” Soundtrack
American actress and singer-songwriter Reneé Rapp teamed up with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion to release a new song “Not My Fault” on December 15, 2023.
The song is taken from an upcoming musical film “Mean Girls” soundtrack.
The track was written by Alexander Glantz, Billy Walsh, Jasper Harris, Jeff Richmond, Megan Pete, Nell Benjamin, Reneé Rapp, and Ryan Tedder. Produced by Ryan Tedder, Alexander 23, Jasper Harris, and Jeff Richmond.
The film “Mean Girls” is based on the Broadway musical of the same name, which in turn was based on a Mark Waters-directed film in 2004.
The film was directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. in their feature film directorial debut, starring Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auliʻi Cravalho, Christopher Briney, Tina Fey and Tim Meadows.
The film is scheduled to be released on January 12, 2024.
Reneé Rapp appeared on the musical and the film. For Reneé Rapp, the musical was a means to achieving her goals as an artist. She said, “I told them, 'I will only take this job if you promise to help me in my music career one day. I want to be a pop star. I do not want to do this forever.'”- C_kPDIXBCWQ
