Blind Channel Releases New Song “DIE ANOTHER DAY” featuring RØRY
Finnish post-hardcore band Blind Channel, consisting of Joel Hokka (vocals), Niko Moilanen (vocals), Joonas Porko (guitar), Olli Matela (bass), Tommi Lalli (drums) and Aleksi Kaunisvesi (DJ), teamed up with British singer-songwriter RØRY to release a new song “DIE ANOTHER DAY” on December 1, 2023.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming fifth studio album “EXIT EMOTIONS”, which is set to be released on March 1, 2024.
The new album comprises a 12-track, featuring guest appearances from From Ashes to New and RØRY.
It is their first body of work in two years since the 2022 album “Lifestyles of the Sick & Dangerous”.
The track was written by Aleksi Kaunisvesi, Roxanne Emery, Antti Joonas Parkkonen, Niko Moilanen, Joonas Porko, Joel Hokka, Olli Matela, and Tommi Lalli. Produced by Zakk Cervini.- The band said of the song, “'Die Another Day' is a song about an existential crisis and the struggle to find meaning in your life. The world can be a pretty dark place but it's also very beautiful and that's something we wanted to capture musically. We centred the track around piano and cellos played by our friend Perttu from Apocalyptica - instruments not so often playing a main part in our music. The song also has a feature from the incredibly talented RØRY, with whom we wrote a couple of songs for our upcoming album 'Exit Emotions.' If you need a reason to die another day, this song could be it.”
