Yasu Returns With New Song “My Spaceship Lost Control”
The Japanese-Brazilian progressive rock artist Yasu has returned with a new song “My Spaceship Lost Control” along with a music video.
The song is Yasu's first music in a year since the 2022 debut single “Post-Truth”, which was released last August.
The track was written by Yasu Yuagui and Yuri Aguiar Tesluk. Produced by Cath Castro and Pedro Zomer.
The video shows an astronaut adrift in space, with excerpts from videos by singer David Bowie.
Yasu said of the song, “The track is a rock opera about an astronaut who finds his ship adrift in space, with death imminent. It's a song full of metaphors about depression and mental health. It's a psychedelic progressive rock song kind of like KC, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, with a touch of Porcupine Tree from the 90s!”- source : Apple Music
