Jacob Lee Releases New Song “You & I”
Australian pop singer-songwriter Jacob Lee released a new song “You & I” on November 3, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to “Easy For You” and will appear on his upcoming third studio album “Lowlyland”, which is expected to be released later this year or in 2024.
The track was written by Jacob Lee. Produced by Jacob Lee, Luke Palmer and Matt Bartlem.
Jacob Lee shared on social media, “I'm back. This is the first of countless songs that dive into my psyche. You're going to love whats next. I sincerely hope you love this one.”
He continued, “After a long drought of releasing music, I'm finally back. It feels good. Four more songs are almost yours, & if all goes well, they'll be out this year too. I feel like I'm writing better than I ever have, & know deep down everyone who's loved my music in the past, will adore these also. I'm so excited to hear what you think of 'You & I'”- The new album is his first body of work in three years since the 2020 album “Conscience”.
He started to make the album in 2021. Jacob Lee shared about the album on social media, “My Lowlyland album will be finished. An album that begun late 2021. I won't lie - this roll out has been far too slow. These last three years have been a whirlwind of lessons. (Though lessons make for fantastic lyrical content) ...All I'll say is that 2024 will be a gatling gun of songs. Honest, emotional, real, genuine, authentic music.
