Henry Moodie Releases New Song “closure”
British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie released a new song “closure” along with a music video on October 13, 2023.
The song is his fifth single, following “you were there for me”, “drunk text”, “eighteen”, and “pick up the phone”.
The track was written by Henry Moodie, Fanny Hultman, Ines Dunn, and Sam Merrifield. Produced by Freedo, Ramera Abraham, and Fanny Hultman.
The accompanying video was directed by Samuel Douek, starring Bel Priestley and Olive Gray. The video is part one of a three part love story.
Henry Moodie said of the video, “'closure' is a song I wrote about someone falling out of love with you; it's simple and complex at the same time. The music video captures a mix of the emotions brought on by love, and I hope that it will resonate with people in different ways. This year has seen LGBTQ+ rights around the world threatened, and governments politicising the trans community for their own gain. I wanted this video to be a celebration of queer love helped told by the exceptional Bel Priestley and Olive Gray. There's no LGB without the T!”- Henry Moodie shared on social media, “I think one of the most difficult heartbreaks can be when someone simply falls out of love. When you kinda wish they were a horrible person so you have a reason to get over them. If you're still looking for closure, this one's for you.”
