Jason Derulo Releases New Song “Hands On Me” featuring Meghan Trainor
American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo teamed up with Meghan Trainor again to release a new song “Hands On Me” on October 13, 2023.
This marks third collaboration between Jason Derulo and Meghan Trainor. Their first collaboration was “Painkiller”, which was featured on Jason Derulo's 2015 studio album “Everything Is 4”. Also, Jason Derulo co-wrote Meghan Trainor's 2016 single “Me Too” from her second major-label studio album “Thank You”.
Jason Derulo said fondly about the experience of collaborating with her, "She's a sweetie, she's crazy, and we got along really well. I think that song was perfect for her because it's about loving yourself and not worrying about what haters say. It's just a dope, fun song."
The new song interpolates Ben E. King's classic “Stand By Me”.
The track was written by Ben E. King, Elof Loelv, J BACH, Jason Desrouleaux, Jerry Leibe, Kyle Buckley, Meghan Trainor, Mike Stolle, Sarah 'Solly' Solovay, and Shawn Charles. Produced by Elof.- Jason Derulo recently commented on an ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit against him, calling the claims “Completely false and hurtful.”
Jason Derulo shared on social media, “I wouldn't normally comment but these claims are completely false and hurtful. I stand against all forms of harassment and I remain supportive of anybody following their dreams. I've always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that's why I sit here before you deeply offended, by these defamatory claims. God bless.” - source : Apple Music
