Kelsy Karter & The Heroines Drops New Music Video for “Love Goes On”
Australian-British rock band Kelsy Karter & The Heroines, consisting of Kelsy Karter (vocals), Matt Peach (guitar), Tommy Gent (bass) and Sebastian Boyse (drums), dropped a new music video for “Love Goes On” on October 6, 2023.
The song was released back in May. It was written by Adam Slack, Alex Sacco, Kelsy Karter, Matt Peach, Tommy Gent, Sebastian Boyse and Riley Thomas. Produced by Alex Sacco and Riley Thomas.
The band lead singer Kelsy Karter said of the song, “My last album was all about heartbreak because that’s what I was going through at the time. But now I’m sober from the pain and I wanted to write a song to celebrate that. I watched some of my closest friends go through heartbreak this past year and I think this song offers some wisdom to anyone going through it. I’ve been there. And I’ve become stronger from it. We wanted it to be fun, electric and empowering. Cause baby, love goes on”- Originally, the band didn't plan to the music video for the song. But, they they came up with an idea of making the video during their tour with Billy Idol in Europe.
Kelsy Karter told MUNDANE about the video, “We didn’t plan on doing a video for “Love Goes On”, but after opening the show with it every night on tour with Billy Idol, we thought, let’s get drunk and make something on a day off in Germany. Our summer tour in Europe was a huge bonding experience for me, Tommy,. Sebastian and Peach, for reasons we’ll keep to ourselves, so we just wanted to get a little feral and bring this tune to life for the fans.” -
