Noah Kahan & Kacey Musgraves Team Up for New Version of “She Calls Me Back”
American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan teamed up with American country music singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves to release a new version of “She Calls Me Back” on October 6, 2023.
The original version is featured on his third studio album “Stick Season”, which was released last October.
For Noah Kahan, the new version is the third collaborative single, following “Dial Drunk” with Post Malone and “Call Your Mom” with Lizzy McAlpine.
The track was written by Noah Kahan and produced by Gabe Simon.
Noah Kahan said of the collaboration with Kacey Musgraves, “Kacey Musgraves is the coolest person ever. Not exaggerating when I say that during the stick season album process we would finish a song and I’d listen back and be like 'can you imagine kacey on this??'. Having her sing on she calls me back is incredible, and being able to have her continue telling the story adds a whole new dimension to the song and what it means.
