Kid Koi Releases New Song “Ooh La La”
New York-based Japanese-American singer-songwriter Sota Koike, aka Kid Koi has released a new song “Ooh La La”.
The track was written by Sota Koike and produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Jean-Luc McMurtry at VLV Media & Records.
The song perfectly encapsulates the essence of carefree coastal allure with a unique blend of pop, hip-hop, R&B, folk, and indie rock reminiscent of the early 2000s.
Kid Koi said of the song, “The essence of the song is celebration of freedom and good vibes. I wanted to create a song that embodied the spirit of feeling carefree, the wind in your hair, and the open road ahead.”- Sota Koike hails from the lower east side of Manhattan. He was four years old, he joined the 3rd St. music academy and learned music throughout his student life. Drawing on his love for music, he enrolled in the California Institute of the Arts and received a degree in Guitar Performance.
He is set to release his debut EP “As I Am” this year. Initially, he shared on social media that the EP was schedule to be released on July 16, 2023. - source : Apple Music
