Lady A Returns With New Song “Love You Back”
American country music group Lady A, consisting of Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, returned with a new song “Love You Back” on September 22, 2023.
It is their first single in a year since “Summer State Of Mind”, which was released last June.
The track was written by James McNair, Lindsay Rimes, and Emily Weisband. Produced by Dann Huff.
The group teased the song during CMA Fest and through social media.
Lady A said of the song, “When we first heard ‘Love You Back,’ we knew immediately it was such a great fit for us. Heartbreak is something almost everyone has experienced and this song describes that experience in a whole new way. We’ve loved seeing how fans react to the song and to now share the official version with everyone is really special!”
Also, Dave Haywood told about the song at their recent secret listening party in Nashville, “We were trying to kind of give this a little bit of an old-school Lady A kind of treatment.”- Photo by Alysse Gafkjen
