Kane Brown Releases New Song “I Can Feel It”
American country music singer-songwriter Kane Brown released a new song “I Can Feel It” on September 22, 2023.
The song is the first music since the 2022 album “Different Man”.
The track was written by Phil Collins, Gabe Foust, and Jaxson Free. Produced by Dann Huff.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alex Alvga.
The track samples drum fill of British singer-songwriter Phil Collins' 1981 smash hit “In The Air Tonight”.
“It’s a legendary drum fill and it’s a legendary song. There’s no way I could not do that,” Kane Brown told Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “I’m the type of guy that I don’t like to screw anybody over. I feel like good karma is, that’s what’s going to keep you going in life. Even if it was a new guy that was working at a small store nobody knew about, I’d definitely give him writer’s credit…Phil could have said no, so I’m glad that he let me use the song.”- He continued, “We went into the writer’s room in Canada the next day and we had Phil Collins on our mind. We started writing this song and it happens every time. I’ll live with a song for months, a year and then release it as a single. But once Dann Huff got a hold of this, I told him, I was like, ‘I want it live. I want you to bring it alive as if I’m… Think of me being on the road on tour. I want to be able to hear that when we’re listening to this song.’ And he just brought the magic. And I fell in love with it.”
