Faouzia Releases New Song “IL0V3Y0U”
Moroccan-Canadian singer-songwriter Faouzia Ouihya, aka Faouzia released a new song “IL0V3Y0U” on September 8, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to “La La La”, which was released in earlier August.
The track was written by Faouzia Ouihya, and Herag Sanbalian, who also produced it.
Last month, Faouzia Ouihya told Kyle Meredith of Consequence Podcasts about the release of some singles this summer, “I write all my stuff I will always seem to find that there's like what keywords that I reuse or a certain topic that people be like this is I can tell when I wrote the song just by like what the content is about and all of the songs funny enough that are coming out this summer have something to do with talking or phones or calling and I didn't even realize that happened but again it was just because I wrote all of those in like a period of time and I thought it was so funny because I'm always like singing about like don't call me or I'm calling you or don't talk to me or I'm talking you or it's like it's all very similar.”- She is currently working on her debut album and says she is currently in a transitional period called a doll summer. The album follows up the 2022 EP “CITIZENS”.
She said, “I actually see this kind of as a transition period because 'CITIZENS' was kind of a long work in progress it took years to build it and to drop it and release it and it almost feels like there's different versions of me in it like you can here it in 'RIP, love' and in 'Minefields' being very different, but if you've been following me from start that they're also very much me and my sound and I like to just bounce between those two worlds and this doll summer is a transition period between 'CITIZENS' and my debut album. And so I'm trying to connect both worlds and also have fun with it at the same time.” - source : Apple Music
