Karen Harding Releases New Song “Wrong Places”
British singer-songwriter Karen Harding will her long-awaited debut album “Take Me Somewhere” on September 29, 2023 via Ultra Records.
The album arrives nine years after her 2014 debut.
From the album, she released the fourth single called “Wrong Places” on September 1, 2023, following “Other Side of Love”, “Wings (I Won't Let You Down)” with Armand van Helden, and “Back to You”.
The track was written by Kamille Purcell, Pete Kelleher, Ben Kohn, Jon Kong, and om Barnes. Produced by Jon Kong.
“It's such a cool, vibey single that sounds different from anything I've done before,” Karen Harding said of the song. “I've recorded a lot of house music over the years, but I've also released some more leftfield dance songs and 'Wrong Places' feels like a nod in that more leftfield direction.”
She shared on social media, “Bit darker, bit moodier and just an absolute vibe (if I do say so myself 🥰).”- The album comprises 13-track, with guest appearances from Digital Farm, Shift K3Y, and Armand Van Helden.
Karen Harding said of the album, “I've been writing songs pretty much non-stop since 'Say Something' (the 2014 debut song). I feel like this album is the culmination of all that hard work. It's definitely a dance album, but I've made sure it has real moments of light and shade.” - source : Apple Music
