twst Announces New EP “TWST0002”, Shares New Song “Catch Me (Beautiful Fall)”
London-based singer-songwriter twst has announced their upcoming EP “TWST0002” will be released later this year via hikikomori baby.
The new EP is their first project in three years since the 2020 EP “TWST0001”.
From the EP, they released a new song “Catch Me (Beautiful Fall)” on August 22, 2023.
The track was written by Eden Tradwell and Chloe Davis. Produced by Chloe Davis, Adam Mark Crisp and Danio Forni.
“It delves into the theme of a tumultuous relationship and explores the imbalanced dynamics of abuse,” twst said of the song. “Obviously the song hits like a light hearted bop and I wanted that to match the delusion somehow of when someone makes you feel starstruck by their love and power play, that you're not really able to see all the bad stuff happening in the background.”
twst will appear on BBC Music Introducing at Reading & Leeds 2023 to perform the new song on August 25, 2023.- twst shared on social media, “AHHHHH 'Catch Me (Beautiful Fall)' is out & is gonna be a part of my next project twst0002. this song brings back so many memories for me & i'm so happy to get to release it now after performing it at the first twst shows in London & now this weekend at Reading & Leeds ahhhhhh. i'm so happy i get to share it with you 🖤 this song is one of my favourites ever & i've been waiting a very long to release it.”
