Komorebi Releases New Song “Watch Out” featuring Blackstratblues, Easy Wanderlings & Dhruv Visvanath
New Delhi-based singer-songwriter Tarana Marwah, aka Komorebi released the second single called “Watch Out” from her upcoming sophomore album “The Fall” on August 18, 2023.
She teamed up with Blackstratblues, Easy Wanderlings and Dhruv Visvanath on the track.
The track was written and produced by Tarana Marwah, with production by Gaurav Raina.
The accompanying music video was directed by Starving Artist Films.
The song is an enchanting song that beautifully captures the journey of self-discovery and liberation.
“This explains the melancholia in the music. I write songs the same way I track vocals - in quiet solitude,” Komorebi said of the song. “I use music as a cathartic medium to help me process grief, anger, resentment, and reach a place of acceptance. Most of my muses include my family and lovers, though I've carefully made sure to be vague enough with the poetry for them not to realize this (or so I think).”
The new album is set to be released on September 8, 2023 via Chicken Ranch Records.- Komorebi shared on social media, “'Watch out' is a song I wrote about letting go of toxic attachment. I've always found it difficult to let go of situations, people and feelings that are simply no good anymore. Letting go as a process is naturally so freeing, we intuitively know how to navigate it. I made sure to collaborate with independent artists whose music resonates with that precise feeling (Easy Wanderlings, Blackstratblues, Dhruv Visvanath) Yet the inertia brought about by our attachment to a thing, the godforsaken thing that we have grown so fond of, grows into a heavy boulder that weighs us down. It stops us from freeing ourselves.”

She continued, “In my comic book this song covers a section where Kiane (the protagonist) is being seduced by Luna (antag) to give more of herself/her resources than she agrees to. We wanted to depict the lure and magnetism of such a charismatic villain and how easy it is to fall prey to their trap. Luna is a complex character and Tsu Rouge has channelled their inner demons to portray this complexity. Kiane and Luna represent goodness and evil within all of us.” - source : Apple Music
