Bahamas Releases New Song “I'm Still”
Canadian singer-songwriter Afie Jurvanen, aka Bahamas released a new song “I'm Still” along with a music video on August 15, 2023.
The song is taken from his upcoming sixth studio album “BOOTCUT”, which is set to be released on September 15, 2023.
The track was written by Afie Jurvanen, and produced by Robbie Lackritz, and Dan Knobler.
While many of the songs on Bootcut were written and performed with a strong country influence, the new song stands out as a bit of an anomaly. The soulful track features a retro R&B arrangement led by a funky guitar riff that sits behind Jurvanen’s laid-back vocal cadence.
The accompanying video was directed by Jason Levangie and features a solo Jurvanen on a leisurely stroll on High Head Trail and along the beautiful coastline nearby in Blandford, Nova Scotia.
The new album comprises 11-track and is his first LP in three years since the 2020 album “Sad Hunk”.- source : Apple Music
