The Americans Announces New EP “Strays”, Shares New Song “When You Get Back”
Los Angeles-based roots rock band The Americans, consisting of Patrick Ferris (vocals/guitar), Zac Sokolow (guitar) and Jake Faulkner (bass), has announced their upcoming EP “Strays” will be released on July 21, 2023.
The EP is their first project since the second album “Stand True”, which was released last May.
From the EP, the band unveiled the first single called “When You Get Back” on June 19, 2023.
The track is a heartbreak song about devotion and solitude in the face of unlikely odds.
Patrick Ferris said, “We write our songs inside-out. We grab hold of something minuscule and primitive - a simple turn of phrase or an unusual beat - and try to build a song around it. It's inefficient, but when it works, it works.”- source : Apple Music
