Nita Strauss Releases New Song “Victorious” featuring Dorothy
American rock guitarist Nita Strauss will her sophomore album “The Call of the Void” on July 7, 2023 via Sumerian Records.
From the album, she released sixth single called “Victorious” on June 6, 2023.
This time, she teamed up with American rock band Dorothy's vocalist Dorothy Martin on the track.
The track was written by Nita Strauss and produced by Kile Odell.
The accompanying music video was directed by Vicente Cordero.
In the video, US Olympian, former WBO and IBF champion Mikalea Mayer appeared as a cameo, who played bass in a heavy metal band Lia-Fail with Nita Strauss between 2003 and 2005.
“'Victorious' is the anthem I always wanted, a song about inspiring change, marching forward relentlessly, being willing to save yourself instead of waiting for someone to do it for you, and never backing down from a fight,” Nita Strauss said of the song. “Dorothy was the perfect powerhouse voice and personality to stand and deliver, and knock this one out of the park.”- Dorothy Martin said, “I'm honoured to be a part of 'Victorious' with my friend Nita Strauss. The new album comprises 22-track, featuring guest appearances from Alissa White-Gluz, Chris Motionless, Lzzy Hale, David Draiman, Dorothy, Anders Fridén, Alice Cooper, Lilith Czar, and Marty Friedman.
