Extreme Releases New Song “Other Side Of The Rainbow”
American rock band Extreme, consisting of Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt (guitar), Pat Badger (bass) and Kevin Figueiredo (drums), will release their upcoming sixth studio album “SIX” on June 9, 2023.
It is their first body of work in 15 years since the 2008 album “Saudades de Rock”.
The album comprises 12-track, produced by Nuno Bettencourt.
From the album, the band unveiled the fourth single called “Other Side Of The Rainbow” along with a music video on June 1, 2023.
The track was written by Extreme and produced by Nuno Bettencourt. The accompanying video was directed by Nuno Bettencourt and Rene Rigal.
The band frontman Gary Cherone said of the song, “Every once in a while, we'll harness some kind of magic, and I think we did on this one. It's a universal theme. It's about restoring someone's faith in love...we feel that it's the perfect marriage of lyrics and melody.”
Nuno Bettencourt added, “How do you play a blistering solo, making it feel like a rainbow? It's a groove we've never done acoustically. It's got my favorite guitar solo it's an up-tempo, moving song.”- source : Apple Music
