piri & tommy Premieres New Song “nice 2 me” on BBC Radio 1
British pop duo piri & tommy, consisting of Sophie McBurnie and Thomas Villiers, premiered a new song “nice 2 me” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is their first music since the 2020 mixtape “froge.mp3”.
It was written and produced by Sophie McBurnie and Thomas Villiers.
The duo will perform at Radio 1's Big Weekend 2023 in Dundee, Scotland on May 27, 2023.
Sophie McBurnie told Clara Amfo about the song, “It was one of those, sometimes you make a demo you just have to spam listen to it. Like every day I was like all over London. It's like 'oh my god' so excited by the song so it's nice. It's like finally coming out. It always takes a while.”
She continued, “I think I just really love like good vibes music in general. It's kind of like this is a more chill one for for me and Tommy I think. But my mom was really into just like R&B music as well. So it's just got that kind of relaxed vibe, which I really liked because, for some barbecue tunes.”- source : BBC Radio 1
