  • Matchbox Twenty Releases New Song “Don't Get Me Wrong”

  • American rock band Matchbox Twenty, consisting of Rob Thomas (vocals), Brian Yale (bass), Paul Doucette (drums) and Kyle Cook (guitar), will release their upcoming fifth studio album “Where The Light Goes” on May 26, 2023 via Atlantic Records.

From the album, the band released the second single called “Don't Get Me Wrong” along with a performance music video on May 5, 2023.
The track was written by Rob Thomas, David Garcia, and Craig Wiseman. Produced by Gregg Wattenberg.
The band frontman Rob Thomas said of the song, “A lot of times, when people have been together for years, you can have arguments that get really heated and keep you on edge. It’s only natural for someone to sometimes think it may be the end. This song was just someone saying, ‘I know I get mad sometimes, but I’m not going anywhere.’”
The new album comprises 12-track, produced by Gregg Wattenberg and Paul Doucette. It is their first album in 11 years since the 2012 album “North”.
