Georgia Announces New Album “Euphoric”, Premieres New Song “It's Euphoric” on BBC Radio 1
London-based producer and singer-songwriter Georgia Rose, aka Georgia announced her third studio album Euphoric” would be released on July 28, 2023.
It is her first album in three years since the 2020 album “Seeking Thrills”.
From the album, she premiered a new song “It's Euphoric” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The track was written and produced by Georgia Barnes and Rostam Batmanglij.
The accompanying music video was directed by FA&FON.
Georgia told Clara Amfo about the song, “It's a bit of a different sound. And it was I've made this new record with Rostam who is a producer who I love. He did the home record and just sort of an incredible guy and we made this song. It was the first song we ever did in a studio. We wrote it in two days. So it just seemed right that we started the campaign with this song. And it is a different thing, but I think it gives you the same kind of dance revives towards the end.”- The new album comprises 10-track, co-produced by Georgia Rose and Rostam.
This marks the first time that Georgia has worked with another producer on her own material.
She said of the work with another producer, “I wanted an adventure! Being a self-produced musician, it's easy to get stuck on one thing or in one place.”
She told Clara Amfo about the album, “It was an experience. I think it was a challenge. It's a challenge, but I wanted to be challenged and I wanted to have a collaborative experience making this new record. As you said, the past few records that I've done it just completely by myself is I love that. But for this one I just wanted something different. I wanted to experience, it was a bit pushed myself into a different place. I went to Los Angeles to make the record. I was challenged with my musical abilities and I just feel like that's why I'm in this is because I want to grow as a musician and sometimes pushing yourself into uncomfortable situations is a good thing.” -
