Ryan Beatty Announces New Album “calico”, Shares New Song “Ribbons”
American singer-songwriter Ryan Beatty announced his third studio album “calico” would be released on April 28, 2023 via Atlantic Records UK/Elektra US.
It is his first album in three years since the 2020 album “Dreaming of David”.
The album comprises 9-track, produced by Ryan Beatty and Ethan Gruska.
From the album, he released the first single called “Ribbons” on March 17, 2023.
The track was written and produced by Ethan Gruska and Ryan Beatty.
Ryan Beatty shared on social media, “my new album, 'calico' comes out april 28th, and you can hear the first track 'ribbons' this friday. i'll save my monologue for another day, but for now you should know that i'm smiling.”- He shared a poem, “what started as a night became a morning under the southern sun became a citrus kiss became a crickets click became a cows howl behind the slaughterhouses door you spun the car keys took your shirt off chewed two apples to the core turning red turning west tipping the switchblade to roswell trucking through tucson my california called us in the distance i saw your shadow i held your cross i felt your heart i tasted your tongue in my teeth and it became the perfect carnage of my feelings for you.”
