Sabrina Carpenter Performs “Nonsense” & Harry Styles' “Late Night Talking” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
American singer-songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform “Nonsense” and a cover of Harry Styles' “Late Night Talking”.
“Nonsense” is featured on her fifth studio album “Emails I Can't Send”, which was released last June.
The track was written by Steph Jones, Julian Bunetta and Sabrina Carpenter. Produced by Julian Bunetta.
Sabrina Carpenter told Apple Music, “Genuinely, I just could not stop writing fake versions of the chorus. Basically, we were, like, we know the song is nonsense, we know the chorus, so we took a few of those lyrics that we love, that we were dying over, and we put them in the outro of the song. It's cool that that kinda song was able to make it in the record, because I really think that also it shows my stupid sense of humor.”
She continued, “Some days are amazing, fun and happy and, you know, you feel really good about yourself, and others days you feel the lowest you ever felt, so 'Nonsense' to me, I was, like 'I just wonder if it kinda discredits the rest of the album by how like upbeat it is and how fun and careless it is,' but now I feel like is part of it, so I'm very happy I had it.”- N4NufBD1sQ4

“Late Night Talking” was released by British singer-songwriter Harry Styles from his third studio album “Harry's House” in 2022.
The track was written by Harry Styles and Thomas Hull, and priduced by Kid Harpoon, and Tyler Johnson.
The song recached No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the UK Singles chart.
