Jain Returns With New Song “The Fool”
French singer-songwriter Jeanne Galice, aka Jain returned with a new song “The Fool” on February 23, 2023.
The song is her first music in four years since the 2019 “Gloria”.
Also, the track is the first taste of her upcoming third studio album, which is expected to be released this spring.
The track was written by Jason Glasser and produced by her long-time collaborator Yodelice.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jules Jolly.
Jain said of the song, “The Fool is the holiest card in the deck. You can't go on any kind of journey unless you're willing to be foolish. Taking your first step, driving a car, falling in love. There's always a risk you'll lose your balance. At any moment. But in the end, the fool's journey is the only journey.”

The new album is her first project in five years since the 2018 album “Souldier”.
This poetic body of work is inspired by self-empowerment, new chances and beginnings, and the need to overcome one's fears.
Jain said, “A few months ago, I moved to Marseille, in a cabin facing the sea (where I wrote a third of the next album…). It became a special place for me because I felt a bit of magic while singing with my guitar.”- source : Apple Music
