American Authors Releases New Album “Best Night of My Life”: Streaming
Brooklyn-based alt-rock band American Authors, consisting of Zac Barnett (vocals), Dave Rublin (bass) and Matt Sanchez (drums), released their fourth studio album “Best Night of My Life” on February 10, 2023.
It is their first album in four years since the 2019 album “Seasons”.
The album comprises 10-track, produced by American Authors, Gregg Wattenberg and Matt Sanchez.
All songs were written by Zac Barnett, Dave Rublin and Matt Sanchez.
The band said of the album, “Our 4th studio album has arrived, so many thoughts and feelings. This album embodies our stories over the last decade finding our way though the world. The wins, the losses, the good times and bad. We hope it gives you all something to hold on to when the world is bringing you down or when you finally make it to the top the mountain you’re climbing. Written and Produced by just us 3 in a living room in Las Vegas, we wanted to give you…. Us. As pure as pure can be. Thank you for the most beautiful decade of our lives and for your continued support of our music. You make us more whole than we ever felt before. We wanted to do the same for you. This album is a hug to you. We hope you love it.”- The band frontman Zac Barnett said, “At the ten-year mark, it made sense to bring it back to the beginning. Obviously, we’ve grown a lot in the last ten years and are in different places. However, we’re still the same band with a positive message. We’ve noticed which songs resonate live, so we thought about how we could maintain those elements that the American Authors family really enjoys. It was nostalgic and updated. Best Night of My Life sounds like it could’ve been our second album, but it took us ten years of growing in the music industry as songwriters and producers to get here. Rather than looking at what was going on around us, we looked at who we are.”

“'We Happy' is our spin on the classic 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' but we wanted to flip it to say we are living our lives & we are happy doing it. Don't worry about me, I'm happy living my life how I want.”
“Blind For Love”
“'Blind For Love' is a song for the romantics. It's about human connection and believing in possibilities that lie within a single kiss. This song is about trusting your feelings and finding your way through this world with the person you love.”
