Steve Aoki Releases New Song “Diferente” featuring CNCO
American DJ Steve Aoki teamed up with Latin American boy band CNCO, consisting of Christopher Velez, Erick Brian Colon, Richard Camacho, and Zabdiel de Jesus, to release a new song “Diferente” on February 3, 2023.
This marks the first time Steve Aoki and CNCO have worked together.
Last year, CNCO announced that they will disband as a group. “We are feeling nervous but at the same time, we feel excited, anxious,” CNCO's Erick Brian Colon said. “We're ready to try new things.”
Before their breakup, Steve Aoki recruited the band for the new song.
Steve Aoki said, “I have been wanting to work with the guys for a long time now and our schedules would not coincide to get something in, so I'm excited to finally have gotten to do it. I love their style and so much talent with these guys. We had so much fun putting this one together and it's just a vibe.”
The track was written by Jose Jesús Toussaint Hernández, DVLP, Carlos Enrique Briceno, and Steve Aoki.
