Zara Larsson Premieres New Song “Can't Tame Her” on BBC Radio 1
Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson premiered a new song “Can't Tame Her” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is her first music in two years since the 2021 album “Poster Girl” and is the follow-up to the collaborative single "Words" with Swedish DJ Alesso.
The track was written by Zara Larsson, Kian Sang, Karl Ivert, Dave Kutch, and MNEK. Produced by MTHR and Danja.
The accompanying music video was directed by GLOBAL.
Zara Larsson told Clara Amfo about the song, “It's energetic. It's fun. I wrote it with MNEK. And two Swedish producers MTHR. And we have before done like the same topic of a wild crazy girl. In third person like telling a story. You know, who is she? isn't me, maybe. And so we just did that. And we absolutely love that. See how like how I like to work is to write many different songs on the same day, or just start ideas and then especially if you have like a couple of days with the people you're in, and then you can go back to it and like finish writing the next day or whatever. But this song we were just like, let's just keep going. Let's just do the second verse. And that's a really good sign just even in the studio, but it feels really good that I just played it for some people and they were like, you know, and it's nice to have that feedback and getting it confirmed that it's not only me who love it.”- GNcX0qqnE2Y

She continued, “So I'm so excited, like their response so far have been really good and even so I feel extremely excited about this year coming up. Just me I feel very carefree and happy. And I think I've been feeling a lot of pressure before. Yeah, no, and now I'm just like, No, I'm just having fun. Like, I'm just gonna have fun.”
She added, “I have no like poor manager every time like a couple of days before release I'm like I don't know if this was the song I don't know. I really don't know like I may just try it strategy like admin. It is really loud. But this time, I feel so calm. I'm just like, I think 2023 is gonna be a good year. I feel really good about the song and everything that's coming up. And it's just great to be back.”- source : BBC Radio 1
