Gracie Abrams Announces Debut Album “Good Riddance”, Shares New Song “Where do we go now?”
American singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams announced her highly-anticipated debut album “Good Riddance” would be released on February 24, 2023.
The album comprises 12-track, produced by Aaron Dessner who is known as producer for Taylor Swift's studio albums “Folklore” and “Evermore”.
Gracie Abrams shared on social media, “It's difficult to imagine these songs living anywhere other than my most secret places, but Aaron Dessner reminded me that holding space for brutal honesty in songwriting is kind of the whole point.
I feel an unbelievable amount of gratitude for the opportunity to have made this album. Writing this record allowed me to grow up in ways I needed to. It forced me to reflect and be accountable. It allowed me to walk away from versions of myself that I no longer recognized. It allowed me to let go.
There will never be enough words to describe the gift that is Aaron's friendship. He is one of the very few people in this world capable of making others feel safe to their core when they are exploring the parts of themselves that are most raw. He is rare and generous.”- From the album, she released a new song “Where do we go now?” on January 13, 2023.
The tack was written by Gracie Abrams and Aaron Dessner. Produced by Aaron Dessner and Matias Tellez.
The accompanying music video was directed by Gia Coppola. who is a granddaughter of American film director Francis Ford Coppola.
She shared, “Directed by Earth angel Gia Coppola … Gia I trust you with my life!!!!!!!!! Collaborating with you was an actual dream and the kindness and warmth on your set is entirely reflective of who you are as a person. Thank you to everyone who worked on this video, thank you to the perfect crew. Honored to have spent the day together <3 This one hurts me 🙃” -
