HAEVN Releases New EP “Holy Ground”: Streaming
Amsterdam-based indie pop-ambient band HAEVN, consisting of Marijn van der Meer (vocals/guitar) and Jorrit Kleijnen (keyboard), has released their third EP “Holy Ground”.
It is their first project in three years since the 2019 EP “Symphonic Tales”.
The EP comprises 6-track, they worked with producer Daniel Gibson.
Jorrit Kleijnen said of working with Daniel Gibson, “Like a good marriage... Someone who sees more in you than you do.”
The duo made the EP at the island of Gotland in Sweden.
HAEVN said of the EP, “We're very proud to share our new EP. Written in summer on the island of Gotland, Sweden. Where the sun never really goes down around that time. We hope you'll like it.”
They continued, “After working day and especially nights for more than a year, we are so proud to share our newest EP Holy Ground. In this chaotic world, many relive the past or worry about the future, we hope to offer you a comfortable space to relax and listen.”- Also, after the digital release of the EP, they served the EP with vinyl back in November.
The duo said, “They say music is not tangible but we feel it has the power to create real and tangible change. It feels good to finally hold this 'Holy Ground' vinyl in our hands.” -
HAEVN embarks on their headline tour in the Netherlands in 25 cities in 2023. The tour kicks off at De Purmaryn in Purmerend on February 2, 2023 and will conclude at Theater Aan Het Vrijthof in Maastricht on April 28, 2023.
