Shira Returns With New Song “New York City in December”
New York City-based singer-songwriter Shira returned with a new song “New York City in December” alongside a music video on December 9, 2022.
It is her first music in a year and a half since the 2021 “Out of the Blue”.
The track was written by Shira and produced by Paul Carbonara.
The accompanying video was filmed by The NYC Walking Show, Cosmo Skerry and NYC loves NYC.
Shira said of the song, “The holidays can be a tough time. Three years ago was extra hard for me when I was alone, sheltering in place, during the pandemic, while my partner was stuck on the other side of the ocean and I was dreaming of having him here with me in NYC. There's a certain magic in NYC around the holiday that really doesn't exist anywhere else.
